Dr. Rohit Gowda
Consultant Paediatrician and Gastroenterologist

 

I trained as a Paediatrician in the West Midlands with extensive training in Paediatric Gastroenterology in the Birmingham Children’s Hospital which is a renowned centre for Paediatric Liver disease and Gastroenterology.

I became a Member of Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in 2006(MRCPCH). I have wide ranging experience in the field of General Paediatrics and Neonatology having worked in different settings of Paediatrics in the NHS.I was awarded the SPIN recognition for training in Gastroenterology by the RCPCH.

​

I worked as a Consultant Paediatrician with special interest in Gastroenterology in University Hospital of Warwickshire in Coventry in 2013. In June 2014 I joined Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Hospitals NHS Trust as a part of our Tertiary level Gastroenterology services which offers services such as specialist clinics for children with gastro-intestinal problems, endoscopy services, IBD service and Coeliac clinics.

I am a member of British Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. I am currently the Paediatric Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Lead at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Hospital. Apart from my clinical commitment, I am involved as a Principal Investigator in multiple Research studies in Paediatrics and Gastroenterology
